Staffing Firms
Whether looking for temporary or permanent employment, working through a private staffing firm may be a good option. Many employers use a staffing firm when they have temporary or permanent positions to fill, thus reducing much of the hiring burden from their Human Resources department. In most cases, the employer will pay the agency fee. There are very few instances where it is advisable that the potential employee pay the fee

Definitions/Types of Staffing Services:
 - Placement  - staffing firm brings together job seekers and potential employers for the purpose of establishing a "permanent" employment relationship
 - Temporary Help - staffing firm hires its own employees and assigns them to support or supplement a client's work force in situations involving employee absences, temporary skill shortages, seasonal workloads, and special projects
 - Temporary to Hire - staffing firm employee works for a client during a trial period in which both the employee and the client consider establishing a "permanent" employment relationship
 - Long-Term Staffing - staffing firm supplies employees to work on long-term assignments. Employees are recruited, screened, and assigned by the staffing firm
