Bundles for Babies Expectant or new parents receive a "bundle" for baby at end of class. Classes are open to all ranks and are not limited to a first pregnancy. What a wonderful opportunity to learn more about family financial preparation, parenting skills, meet other expectant parents, and receive a great gift for your precious bundle! Funded by the Air Force Aid Society - open to all active duty assigned to an Air Force base Operation Stork New parents receive a beautiful baby layette after baby is born. Register before birth at Family Services in the Airman and Family Readiness Center. Pick up after birth - bring in baby or birth certificate. Funded by private organizations - for all military with base access Visiting Nurse The New Parent Support Program has a visiting nurse for expectant parents or families with children ages three years and younger. Home visits, on-base or off-base, hospital visits. Get answers to nutritional questions, calming baby, positive guidance - any question to do with pregnancy, being a new parent, or help for young children. Call 509-247-2687 Play Groups Play groups tend to come and go, depending on parents' interest in starting one Mom2Mom Breastfeeding support group meets on base. Provides support, encouragement and assistance through peer mentorship and opportunities to meet other breastfeeding families, and community education and outreach.
