Integrated Delivery System (IDS), CAIB and Comprehensive Airman Fitness (CAF)

Community Action Information Board (CAIB)
Serves as a cross-functional forum to address installation community issues and elevate issues that cannot be resolved at installation level. The focus of the CAIB is to identify and resolve issues that impact the readiness of members and their families, promote the perception of the Air Force as a positive way of life, and enhance members' ability to function as productive members of the Air Force community.  The emphasis is on positive actions and programs that strengthen force readiness through a sense of community and assist members and civilians, their families, and communities to thrive and successfully manage the demands of military life

Integrated Delivery System (IDS)
Functions as the action arm of the CAIB, and develops a comprehensive, coordinated plan for integrating and implementing community outreach and prevention programs.  The IDS is comprised of many of the "helping agencies" on the installation - see brochure for contact information.  The IDS ensures the biennial community needs assessment is completed, and a summary of results is forwarded to the CAIB.  Based on the results of this assessment, and other assessments and surveys which may have been conducted at installation level, the IDS prepares a Community Action Plan. Caring For People Forum
Members of Team Fairchild (military, civilian, retiree, and family members) meet as part of a working group to provide community feedback to leadership for review, action and resolution. Interested in participating?  Contact any IDS agency to learn of schedule

Comprehensive Airman Fitness (CAF)
The goal of CAF is to help Airmen, Air Force civilians and family members become more resilient and better-equipped to deal with the rigors of military life. The Air Force does this by promoting: Positive Behaviors (Caring, Committing, Connecting, Communicating and Celebrating) and Holistic Health (Mental Fitness, Physical Fitness, Social Fitness and Spiritual Fitness). Please see the CAF website for details and resources to achieve goals
