Employment assistance is offered, providing training and information to military spouses and to military members transitioning to the civilian world in order to help them to reach their employment and career goals.  Although the program does not guarantee employment, it provides the tools and skills necessary to identify and actively pursue employment that matches well with their needs and skills.

Some of the services provided include: 

• Personalized job skill assessment and career counseling
• Resume classes and resume review
• Virtual Interview Practice (Perfect Interview)
• Internet, printer, fax and phone access
• Information on local employment opportunities
• Job Search Networking Group
• Career seminars
• Assistance with identifying career goals and job searches
• Information on the impact of relocation on employment and coping strategies
• Support and encouragement

The Fairchild AFB Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) employment services are open to all DoD ID card holders, including DoD civilians and their family members. 

The Discovey Resource Center (DRC) is open for walk-in self-service Mon, Tue, Wed and Fri from 7:00-4:00; Thu from 7:00-3:00. The DRC has computers, printers, copier, fax, written materials, job listings.
